The format of a typical onsite training day.
In some cases, it is more cost effective and efficient for training to be provided onsite to various staff at once rather than sending individual staff members to a training venue.
The following is a typical format of an onsite training day comprising of three different presentations which allow the training of all staff, within their required context, to an intermediate level of understanding within one day. The timings on the day and courses included can be customised to the specific school requirements to ensure the best coverage of staff and limit, as much as is possible, any disruption to the school day.
09.00-09.30 - Confirmation of expected outcomes from the day
09.30-12.00 - Management Team “Reducing the impact of the GDPR”
12.00-13.00 - Lunch
13.00-15.30 - Gatekeepers "Identifying and handling sensitive data"
15.30-16:00 -Ask anything session for the SLT or GDPR lead (either Data Protection Officer or Chief Privacy Officer)
16.00 to 17.00 All other staff briefings “Ensuring good data privacy in school”
What our fans say, “...The training was well delivered and covered the new regulations giving clear guidelines on what we need to do to adhere to the new regulations.”
